Benchmark Human Services has grown to become one of the most respected leaders in the country in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health. We work with people of all ages at home, at work, and in the community through residential programs, employment services, crisis response, day services and more.
We are starting a new program in Tulsa, OK that supports individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in our Crisis Support Homes. The focus of this program is to provide time-limited crisis services that support individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. The IDD Crisis Home is used as a measure of last resort for individuals undergoing an acute crisis that presents a substantial risk of imminent harm to self or others. The goal is to stabilize the individual through nursing and behavioral supports, on a time limited basis.
We are hiring a
House Manager to serve as a member and house manager of the IDD Crisis Support Home team who is responsible for staff supervision, health and safety of individuals in the Crisis Support Home and coordinate and provide services to those receiving Crisis Support Home services.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the daily activities of the 24-hour IDD Crisis Home under the direct supervision of the Director.
- Must be willing to flex schedule according to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required
- Provide oversight, administration, direction to the crisis home.
- Supervise staff and ensuring quality of care for those receiving services in the home.
- Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of each client’s individual plans.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly documentation as required by Benchmark and state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate repairs and required maintenance of the crisis home.
- Maintain staff schedule according to staffing limitations.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure that a comprehensive and person-centered approach underlies the intensive short-term treatment and the long-term planning for a successful transition.
- Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT and supervisor.
- Financial management for house budget and for each client as specified in ISP.
- Attend all agency and departmental meetings, client appointments as directed, and chair client specific and house meetings
- Monitor overall health care needs including plans, medications, treatment protocols, and the general well-being of clients served
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of DDS Community Provider standards and organization policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of direct support professionals Understanding of state and federal regulations
- Ability to interpret financial data and make necessary adjustments to meet goals
- Ability to multi-task
Qualifications
- Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or mental illness who are in crisis.
- Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
- Minimum of year supervisory experience
- Must be computer literate.
- Two years-experience with individuals with I/DD is required.
- Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training, or and certifications
